Science and Technology Division

Science and Technology Division of Gampaha Wickramarachchi Ayurveda Institute has been established for the integration of science base knowledge and skills for advancement of the Ayurveda Medicine.

The Science and Technology Division take pride on the potential and capacity to enhance the facilities for the BAMS undergraduates, postgraduates and researches to provide their needs for the success of their activities based on the developed technology and methodology.

The Medical Technology Laboratory of the Division plays a vital role by facilitating to conduct practical classes for Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physiology, Pathology, and Microbiology of BAMS undergraduate programme and postgraduate studies. It also provides valuable service in clinical laboratory test for the Institute and Ayurveda Teaching Hospital.

Senior academics and skillful laboratory technical staff have been involved in academic and research works to enhance the knowledge and skills of the BAMS undergraduate students and postgraduate students of the Institute.

Following services are provided by Medical Technology Laboratory,

  • Facilitate to research works to undergraduates and postgraduate students
  • Bio medical samples investigation and issuing reports
  • Analysis of different samples on the request of industry
